Default Gas soaked spark plugs

Hey everyone, i'm having some problems figuring this out. Car is a 1991 Gt. This problem started out as one spark plug being fouled with gas about every month. Decided to do a compression test today, which checked out fine and found out that all the spark plugs are now being soaked in gas. The car runs and starts just fine, there is a miss sometimes in the 1000-1800 rpm range though.

I've done the basic tune-up, and it didn't help. Now here is where i'm starting to think my problem is. The PO put 23lb injectors in the car(these ones to be exact http://www.jegs.com/i/Accel/110/150823/10002/-1) but i don't think he changed the mass air meter. Does this sound like it could be the cause of my problem? Is there anyway i could check to see if it is the stock one? Anything else i should test and see?

Thanks.

look for part numbers on the maf, post them here.

IMHO, you should start looking for some stock injectors and possibly buy an SN-95 maf + adapter

here's the only marking i found on it.

Sorry it's not a good picture of it. Comparing it to the stock one on CJponyparts, i'm going to take a guess that it is the stock one?

what's done to the engine performance-wise? I believe stock injector size is 19lbs? Going to 23lb injectors is a pretty hefty step-up in fuel.

are there any part #s on the MAF itself? That'll be the best way to tell IMO. Maybe someone can point it out by eye though.

The ECU may or may not be calibrated, but with that stated anything other than stock injectors would cause the car to run terrible in most cases. I have a used set of 19lbs with 74000 miles on them along with the fuel rails if you'd like them. PM me for the details if you're interested.

But yes, you need to put stock 19 lb injectors back on the car and make sure all the plugs are gapped to .054.

if you need injectors pull some stock injectors from a 5.0 explorer they have a newer style injector that is more efficient and is a direct swap
