Two new sun visors arrived today from CJ Pony Parts. Went to install the first one on drivers side... what a PITA!!! I thought it would just slip right on the rod after I lubed it up with a little 10w 40 (spare me the jokes)... I got it about 3/4 of the way on, and my arm is about numb... is it supposed to be this much of a chore to get these on!?! MAN! If anyone has done this for a convertible let me know... there must be a trick to it or something...

The retaining clips inside the visor are binding. Common side effect of DIY kits.
I always buy the visors & rod together. Saves hours.

Matt: yeah, shoulda ordered them attached to the rod. Hey, Springfield MA is cool. I used to live in Indian Orchard, many years ago. Do you cruise your ponies in Forest Park? They had a cool Monkey House there a looong time ago!
