cranking problem
I got offered an 86 stang for $1900 OBO. the car has the following: The coupe comes with a rebuilt 5.0 also rebuilt t5 with short shifter, edelbrock 1406 carb, edelbrock intake, new distributor, new msd 8.5 wires, fuel regulator,3 row radiator, dual eletric fans, electric bkk fuel pump, bkk pulleys, battery relocated to the trunk, drill rotor with disc brakes all around,5 lug conversion with 97 gt wheels.
Now the issue is the following:the problem is she turned off on me and wont turn back on its not getting any spark.i dont know if its the coil or distributor.
Your input will be greatly appreciated.

Define drilled rotors? If that means they have holes in them... then I'm guessing previous owner or whoever modified this car knows nothing. Check into your battery relocation set-up.
On a side note/question... you got offered this car and now she wont start up for you? So you bought it? Probably the reason he sold is because he screwed something up and doesn't know anything about cars and couldn't fix it... even though reversing the failing mod would prob get the car running how it was before.

Anyway it can be anything to do with your ignition, coil, pickup coil, bad wiring, electrical plugs, etc. Was any work done to it recently?

I have not bought the car yet. The car cranks but wont turn on. The guy says he hasnt done any work to it lately. A jump wont work and spark plug wires are in the correct place. The description i left above is exactly what he posted on his ad. I havent gone to see the car myself.
