347 wrecked mustang
well im just looking for everyone's opinion... i bought a wrecked 88 notchback, it did not warp or bend the front strut towers just the radiator support but when it was wrecked it was slid around and hit a dirt bank on the rear and warped a rim, i have bought a new rim and i have also put control arms on because the rear end was shoved over. After putting the control arms in and putting a new rim on the rear end sits an 1 inch and a half over, when i lowered the rear end to take the old control arms out nothing looked warped and bent except for the old control arm bushing was pushed way out. i got a front end that was cut off a car that i bought off the original owner, brand new fenders, used bumper, and a fiberglass cowl hood that was on the car before he wrecked it luckily the guy got a ticket over the hood and had a different hood put on the car while he wrecked it but this car has 94k miles on it originally, i paid 2 grand for the car, im just wanting to know if i should cut this front end off an get it pulled at a frame shop and weld the other front end on or just go out and buy a complete rolling chassis with no motor or trans. if u want pictures of the car to have a better look at it so u could tell me a better opinion just ask i'll post them up! thanks!

If your rear is sitting that much out... and you can't notice damage to the rear control arm boxes. I'd say bent frame/body.. If the car looks straight and doors close properly...and the rear sits that far out... your bushing holes/boxes are bent/twisted and causing the rear to not sit straight. Just cuz the sheetmetal looks straight doesn't mean anything. The control arm bolt holes could have been damaged(looks like an oval) and causing the control arm bolts not to sit right.
At the same time, your bolt holes on the rear could be damaged. Gotta check everything and make sure it is all straight and good.
