well im pretty fed up with this car right now. i give up. idle was ****ty and choppy, and would die on a cold start. as well as a misfire at wot only while at certain rpms. list of things done:

reset timing, cleaned salt n pepper connectors, cleaned egr valve, cleaned intake manifold, cleaned maf sensor, set tps, cleaned iac valve, set base idle.

parts bought and changed:

new o2s, new cap and rotor, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new iac valve, new egr position sensor, i know im forgetting a few things.

results: NONE. idle is still choppy and rough. sounds liek a wild cam, but its a stock cam. i had a shop smoke test it for vac leaks. found 1 from oil dipstick tube. no other leaks found. egr is working now, and the code 34 did go away. lack of power and popping noise out of intake area still exists when going from cruise to wot. if you smash through all gears or 3/4 throttle its fine.

while idling exhaust smells like crap and burns your eyes bad. im gettin koer codes 12 41 91. im thinking theres a vac leak, but after that smoke test im left clueless. nothing changes this issue. countless hours spent inspecting and retesting parts and cleaning and replacing etc. when i unhook iac, nothing changes. its a brand new iac. i checked voltage and resistance to both iac valves and both checked out good. if anyone else has gone through this p.i.t.a. and knows the solution plz tell me.

I've had a similar problem. I know this may sound stupid but you know that little vacuum T where you hook up four vacuum lines on the driver side of the firewall in the engine bay? Are all the lines from there where they're supposed to go?

It sounds like your catalytic converter may be clogged.

Mine is doing the same thing, I just haven't taken it to a garage yet. I was told it could be timing, vac leak, bad fuel pump etc. so hopefully the shop I take mine to can figure it out and fix it.
