Default 94 rear axles 2 a fox?

So i m gonna be headed to the yard again for the rear discs on a 94...I was told that the rear axles might be a diff spline count...looked around all I found was if I used the rears the width would be about 1\4" wider on each side...will they work than? Kinda confused cause another fella said to double check...oh the 94 is a V6 thank for your help guys

the v6 has a 7.5" rear end, which actually still uses 28 spline axles.

SN-95 axles are 3/4" longer (so thats a total width addition of 1.5" over the fox axle width)

Why dont you just pull an entire axle from a GT?

The yard that's here doesnt have any gt's. So I should grab the hub assemblys and prob axles from a ranger or such?

ranger hubs wont work for you
you will need to find axles from an old ranger. year is very important.

If you cant find a 94-98 GT in a junkyard, you need to find a new place to look. Search on www.car-part.com

If I remember right the caliper brackets on the sn95s will not line up correctly for "stock track width". I normally see people use the ranger axle shafts for a 5 lug conversion while keeping the drum set up. Others for a disc swap mill down their caliper brackets or you can buy some for a hefty price. This is all going on what I've found online though

you cant, with junkyard parts. If you were willing to spend about $600 on brackets, I could point you in the right direction... but IMHO, your best move would be to buy some SN-95 front spindles, 99+ gt calipers and brackets, A-R-B axles, 10" drums/backing plates/wheel cylinders/shoes/hardware (ranger)

You dont NEED rear disc brakes... you are just getting greedy.
