Default What do these go to? See attached pics.

Recently I've had an engine swap done on my 94 GT and the EGR was removed. I noticed that these two things are loose under the hood and I honestly have no idea what they go to. One is a connector and the other looks like some sort of small vacuum line. They're both located on the passenger side near the firewall behind where the EGR sits. My initial thought was that they connect to the EGR, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know what these go to? Thanks!

The wires are the EEC1V test connectors. Hose should connect to manifold vacum.

Thanks, Bubba. Is it a problem that they EECIV connector is loose in the engine bay? I thought it was supposed to be in the passenger side kick panel? If it stays in the engine bay, should I tape it up or anything?

I'll look at a vacuum hose diagram and figure out where the hose connects.

EEC 1V test connector has a cover, it is on back side of shock tower. This is the test connector for your system. Inside connector were for a 6 , I think. Look for connection for vacum at bottom of upper intake.

haha, great... I can't find where either one goes. I don't see a cover for the EEC IV connector anywhere near the shock tower and I can't find where the hose connects to the upper intake. I dunno if it'll help, but it's a TFS intake.

I also have a TF intake. Drivers side of upper intake I put a nipple in one of the holes. They are there just unscrew and go get what you need. Think I went to Lowes. Cover is salvage most likely.

In case anyone is following this or might have the same question in the future when searching, I was able to figure what both of these were. One, as bubba said was the EEC test connector. I found the cover for it, capped it off, and connected it back to the shock tower.

The hose is coming from the solenoid valve which comes from the charcoal canister. It connects to the underbelly of the upper intake plenum. I found some diagrams on Google Images that really helped me out:
