Default Electric water pump problem

Hey guys I just put an rpc electric water pump on my 93 engine and the water inlet is within 1/4 inch of the balancer, I can't even put the hose on. Is there a smaller balancer or has anyone else run into this problem?

maybe the pump is made to be ran with a motor plate, which would give you the clearance you need.

post a pic of what you have.......also is the inlet removable/screw in?? I have seen some where you could change to a more narrow type neck... I run a meziere with no issues

i put one on my car also, mine came with a removable inlet. so what i done was went to a hardware store and got some pipe fittings and made my own inlet. i extended it down farther so when you put the hose on it doesnt rub the balancer. saves money in the end unless you wanna replace the pump or balancer.

I thought about that, going to get fittings. I saw Moroso and meziere make different inlets too. I just slapped on a stock pump till I figure it out and check the thread pitch n whatnot. Appreciate all the input guys!
