Default Trying to work out some H/C/I problems

Well the nice weather is coming soon hopefully in wisconsin and im looking forward to getting everything right this year. I have a 306 10.5:1 CR motor with Trickflow H/C/I and i have some bugs i gotta work out. 2 years ago, last time i had some time to work on it! i took it to C&M automotive in wisconsin and was told my injectors were too small the numbers run to be 24's out of a truck but regardless they were running at 98% duty cycle and wernt doing the job so ive been running it untuned. The first question is that im planning on using 42's with a lightning MAF since i plan on a boosted lower CR motor in the future, i know they r huge for a 300hp car but they should be able to tune them down ive been told? also it stalls when i come to a stop on occation and ive also read it has a lot to do with a tune since it is a 94 and the computers are crazy.

also if anyone has any suggestion on a wisconsin area tuner let me know, ive been told mike post in illinois is great?

thanks for your help, Cory

Hey,
I have not had the fella tune my car yet, but I plan on getting it tuned by Paul Schmudlach. His number is 608 212 9792, he is close to madison. The guy that built my engine said he is good with tuning. He did help me pick out my injectors, intake, and what not. Where you at in wisconsin, I am from milw, but go to school in platteville.

You should be able to run 24 to 30 lb with that setup no problem. I just built an engine for a friend and it is lunati 51014 cam, edelbrock 2 intake, tfs 170 heads, 24lb injectors and runs really strong

I went with 39 pd. injectors. Also used a C&L 76 MAM kit. The guys at late model resto. had a calibration tube for the 39s. Putting it all back together now. Will let you know how it runs in a few weeks.

Check out West Bend Dyno Tuning LLC. Took my car there for baseline pulls, good guys. Haven't done my tuning there yet but that's where I was gonna go.
