1995 GT Fuel Gauge and temp gauge not working properly
Hey guys,
My 95 GT recently starting to have issues with the gas and engine temp gauge. The temp gauge stays all the way to the left, and sometimes, someeetimes works properly after it warms up. Same goes with the gas gauge, it now occasionally shows the right amount of fuel, but usually it's showing about a quarter tank more i've calculated. Is this due to the anti-slush sensor going bad or what? Also, i've noticed that when i reversed into my driveway today, which is slightly downhill, the gas gauge showed even more gas before i shut my car off. It's weird, it feels like the left side of the instrument panel is plagued with some virus. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I'd say to replace your temp and fuel sending units. I had both of those problems several years ago.
On my car, the fuel gauge would show beyond full until it was maybe a quarter tank, then progress to empty very quickly. If I went around corners or found myself on inclines, it would flop around from full to empty.
The temp sending unit on the intake went bad and the gauge read cold all the time.
Both are cheap parts and are common failures as the cars age.
