Default help with smog?

Hey there guys, quick set of questions for everyone.
I just took my 86 gt in for a smog and failed. It passed 2 years ago with flying colors and now I am having some problems

1.) It failed the idle test putting out around 500 hc at idle, while only putting out 19 at 2500 rpm test.
2.) This is a list of "smog" related parts that have been replaced in the last few months leading up to the smog inspection. I have a few that have yet to be replaced so maybe they're the culprits: new egr valve+solenoid, vacuum solenoid, coil, wires, plugs, k&n air filter, o2 sensors, tps (and calibrated within specs)
what I havent replaced is the PCV valve, and fuel pressure regulator.

Any thoughts? Any ideas of what could be causing high emissions at idle and how I can fix the problem?

Many thanks

Excessive hc at idle is a good indication of a cold cat, or an emissions test that was run below full closed loop operating temperature.

Thanks, i'll drive er hard next time I do go into the smog station to test her. Is there a time limit or mileage that should be driven before going in?

you do know what "operating temperature" means.... right?

The last time you went to get it smogged, did they pull you right in? or did the car sit outside for hours?

lol ****ing wow. Yes i know what operating temperature means. No, the car did not sit outside for hours. I drove it about 13 miles from my house, left it running as I pulled into the stall and it sat idling until the paperwork was started
