Loud Ticking Sound

There is a loud ticking sound coming from my engine when I hammer on it and it happens at high speed and high rpm. I'm thinking it is either the lifters being a little noisy or the push rods could be making the noise. Any suggestions or thoughts on how to quite the noise, anything helps. Thank you!
