After seeing all these vids on youtube made me realize that the sound isnt as loud as i thought. Sound comes strait from drivers side valve cover and isnt loud, mainly hear it when the hood is open.

a piston skirt slap is going to make a sound all the time and will give you a ping sound when under load. You are more likely experiencing a valve noise. Pull valve cover and look for broken spring loose rocker that will give a clue to possible collapsed lifter.

I can't really tell what it is but, it doesn't sound like a detonation ping.
