front end clunk

ok, well checked and the wheels alright if i tug on it (12-6..9-3..10-5) and no play., nothing unnormal. I have a feeling that my ball joints are out.., any simple way of checking that? Sound is getting worse., now once i start to back up driveway my drivers side sounds like a ruf screeching sound directly from the drivers side. I suck at posting vids, ill try manana! Has to be something simple there... i know it. I have no rubbing issues with the wheels at all. Oh and i bought sum nice run flats up front that had 70% tread and now the outer part of both front tires are bald..., WTF..LOL i just got em., could be allignment but not sure if it helps...., sorry for the story here

As I tried earlier. There are clips on each end of SN brakes that Prevents Brake Pad Movement. You stated pads move back and forward...this is because clips are missing. Back up brakes go clunk go foward go clunk. Will not do it again until you change direction. Small parts kit will stop this.

You have alignment problems if the tires are wearing like that. You need to get everything checked and fixed before having an alignment though. Have you put struts on recently?
Most of the time a bad ball joint will cause the inside of the tire to wear. It would still be good to check them though. Like Matt said, jack the car up and put a bottle jack under the a-arm as close to the ball joint as possible then let the car jack down. If you did it right, the bottle jack should keep the tire a couple of inches off the ground, just enough to get the prise bar under the tire and prise up on the tire. Get someone to help prise while you look at the joint for movement.
Edit: After watching the video, I want to know what all the clunking is driving straight down the road. Are the struts that bad?
