What kind of instrument is there out there, or procedures I guess, that can tell me If my car is running most efficiently? I bought my car with mods and fixed a few things to flatten the idle so its not rough (Leak by 02 sensors).</P>


I'm not sure if I'm wastin gas, not getting the performance I could or what, anything....?</P>

Get a wideband O2 sensor - for efficiency you'll want to be close to 14.7:1 iirc, and for power somewhere close to 12:1

This site has info on how to build a fuel mixture monitor from an 02 sensor, or where to get one-http://www.bob2000.com/carb.htmIt is a carburetor tuning site, and the info is way down at the bottom, but the monitor info may still be useful.
