how so, air intake manifold, rocker arms, cam shaft, heads, along with full exhaust system, cold air intake, and throttle body, stroked to a 347. I figured it would be at least 450....and im not sure the stock cam in the HO version, so im not sure how much to expect with that, but I figured i would have enough

you'd be figuring wrong......you're lucky if that mess of parts will yield. 320-340 rwhp, to get 450 rwhp, you need close to 500 fwhp, and you'll need a way better cam that'll turn some rpm, at least 6500 and you'll need some good heads, like at least a tfs tw 190-205 head, victor jr or an intake all port matched to the heads or one that flows way better than a craptastic PP intake, you'll need a light weight valvetrain, and all supporting mods, sorry , but 169 dolla cams and parts ain't gonna get your goal, I run a 347 and use a way better mess of parts than you selected and I was just shy of 400 rwhp.

Put it this way, 400 rwhp N/A on a 5.0 is hard to do. Requires a lot of high end parts that ruin the cars ability to be driven daily. The 415 bhp 5.0 on the market today is a completely different animal than the windsor 5.0. They coyote 5.0 has the advantage of 4V per cylinder, dual cam timing, and a ton of other modern technological marvels that older engines just don't have.

You have nothing but very poor 302 parts on you dream list, 347's need 347 parts.
I wouldn't even use those heads you've picked out for wheel chocks.......

If you want that much hp, I would just throw out the 302 idea all together and step up to a stroked 351 based engine.
