Default Odometer Help ??? 95 GT

Need help with the common odometer failure in these cars. (95 GT) I replaced the gears and no change. Made sure all gears and movable parts worked freely when put back together. All other gauges work fine.

I suspect that the small electric motor which drives odometer has gone bad. Anyone know how to get a replacement. I have searched throughout the internet and can find no information nor can you seem to find any new replacement clusters for 94 or 95 models.

Only info is on the gears

Any Ideas ???

Default Odometer Help ??? 95 GT

I find it very hard to believe as well as frustrating that with all the aftermarket parts available for far older mustangs, that there is so little in some areas available for the 94 & 95 models.

What are others out there doing for these types of failures who have exceptional or even show quality cars of this vintage. I would not think that getting something off of ebay or out of a junk yard would be acceptable to people like them. My car has been restored and I do not want to waste money on a cluster which may or may not have the working parts I need.

Not to mention, even if they do work, it's still a 15 year old part and could fail the very next day.

Sadly, this could be one of those issues which has no fix !!!!!!!!!!!!

You can go ahead and find it hard to believe.. as much as you'd like.

But nobody makes a replacement cluster... So, off to the junkyard you go!
