You need to add an oil Catch Can between the PCV Valve and the intake.
Under heavy vacuum the "air" that is sucked through the PCV Valve has a lot of oil mist in it.
As you add performance modifiers to your engine, the vacuum gets stronger and sucks more and more oil.
Why should you be concerned with this?
Oil has a low "octane" rating in general. This leads to pre-detonation and cause engine damage/failure.
The oil causes an embarrassing, smokey exhaust.
Fouls spark plugs.
Gums up intake components.

These oil cans are around $100 on average and they are made by many companies. Just buy one made in USA that has metal fittings, those will last.

Good luck,

Sounds good, I never heard of such a thing but if it captures the liquid oil but then allows the crank to disperse it's pressure into my intake mani then I'm happy. Does it matter how long the hoses are between the grommet for the PCV and the intake or should it be as close as possible kinda like how it is.

actually i was referring to the black rubber grommet that goes in the manifold and the pcv valve plugs into. they get hard and crack easily especially if the car is over 10 years old. they get loose and then do not seal properly.

actually the grommet is okay. I pulled that out to inspect the screen but the grommet is still "rubbery". It was a little dirty from blowback but nothing a rag couldn't clean up.

thats goos, on a mass air motor the small vaccume leak that can occur will make the motor run very lean. i have seen seasoned ford techs miss it.
