Default Want to install cutoff switch for fuel pump

Can anyone tell me where and which wire I can break to insert a hidden switch to cut the fuel pump for security. I have a 90 gt hatch. I know some years had the relays under the drivers seat, and newer years had the relays under the hood for 87-95 5.0's.

It already exists, in the trunk.

Default I guess I misphrased my question

I want to find the wire to insert a switch to cut the power to the fuel pump. I'm not talking about the collision fuel cut off switch.

That switch in the trunk provides the wire you need. Splice your cut-off into the pink wire on the inertia switch.

Interrupt the ground wire to relay.

Default I didnt want to

I really dont want to route two wires from the inertia switch to the ashtray where I have my switch set. Is there a wire in the cabin that I can tap into? Isn't there a power wire to the fuel pump that goes through the main harness by drivers scuff plate?

Go to right kick panel and remove. At the ecm use pin #22 tan/lt green to interrupt the ground to fuel pump relay. Follow the wire out a bit and add new wire switch. Much closer to ash tray and no chance of a short.

what kind of amperage is on that wire? I am just wondering how big his switch would need to be current wise as well as his wiring if he didn't use a relay.

If you do use a relay, and do not use your cig lighter I can give you a pretty trick way to use the lighter as the switch to your starter kill. When you want to be sure the car will be there when you get back all you do is pop it out and the car will not start.

Default Well what's the lighter trick?

You just wire the ground interupt to the lighter housing right? I just want to find that pump cut wire so I can install a switch. I live in the city and dont want anyone trying to steal my baby. They can take the radio, but not my car!
