Default Questions about 3g alternator

On my old mustang I bought and wired in a PA performance 3g alternator with the big *** 12ga wire. Now I'm trying to put it into my current mustang and I can't for the life of me remember what I had to do to wire it. I've tried googling but there's no clear instructions.

Anyone got instructions or some pics to show me how to do this? I know one of the plugs has to be cut or something.

yellow wire to the stud, green wire to factory green wire, white wire on alternator back to plug where green and yellow wire are, 4g wire to starter stud on starter solenoid. Done. clean up/cut and cover the other factory wires, can't remove them from what I know because I think the battery light and **** work off them.

Just installed a 3g on mine few days ago. working awesome even with underdrive pulleys.

(thats for the internal regulated 3g. to use the stock voltage regulator, use the factory white wire, and plug is in the second little plug on the 3g)

if you need a picture, let me know, I have one on my computer at home that might be easier to understand.

I would like to see those, I think my car has a 3g on it, but all the wires are spliced into one big 4gauge wire. I am not really sure what they have going on with it.

I think you mean 4 gauge, 12 isn't very big lol to clarify for 302army, white wire goes to the stator input, the other 2 are a given. When I googled it I found where someone had posted the pa performance instructions, if I remember I'll try to find that for ya

I was able to figure it out. Thanks guys! Only thing stopping me from getting the car started is the damn MAC GT40p headers. They've never installed easy since I got them and this is no different. :/
