5.0L (1979-1995) Mustang Technical discussions on 5.0 Liter Mustangs within. This does not include the 5.0 from the 2011 Mustang GT. That information is in the 2005-1011 section.

Welp, back to the drawing board.

Hmm. Is this car MAF or SD?
Also, what kind of coil do you have?

Car is SD. Going to change to MAF when I get it actually running correctly. Also, it's an MSD stock replacement style coil.

Run a code check, see what comes up.

if its running like ****, dying and everything and NO KOEO or KOER codes, I would be shocked.

replace MSD coil with stock/new to test is MSD is crap, look for vacuum leaks. Try unplugging o2's

The coil is good. Checked with a good stock one and problem persists. And there's truly no codes. I don't understand it either. Pissing me off.

What will unplugging the o2's do?

Unplugging o2's will put you into a permanent limp strategy mode, narrowing down an issue if it was sensor related.

I think you need to test your fuel pressure.

I'm guessing a burnt/cracked to hell flywheel wouldn't cause these problems, would it?

Wouldn't really affect the engine being able to run. At most it would lose it's balance and cause a nasty vibration, but thats quite a longshot.
