Not terrible, but not good either. Not sure how you got the wolverine gouges in it, but a replacement is a good idea. Check the flywheel for hairline cracks. If there's any, it's bad.

Looks quite scarred to me. I would get a new one. Might as well while you're in there. If you're in the AZ area, I can hook you up.

Anyways, I got my tranny up and everything went smoothly after. Started the car, it ran perfect. Seemed like it anyway with just revving and letting it idle. Either way, after a little while, my rear main started leaking like a waterfall. FML. I'm guessing I installed it wrong.

Which way should the seal be facing? The concave side toward the tranny or inside to the motor? And what's the best way to know it's sealed?

you mean the rear main?? I thought it's obvious which way they go in, closed side goes out

Yeah, I messed up on that one. Got it done in an hour though. Stupid output shaft is still leaking though.
