Default tranny grind..?

So i have this t5 thats been acting up.., Yes i have a new clutch. Well if im driving and come close to stopping but then traffic goes im forced to shift to 1st since i dont have 3.73's id just start on 2nd but anyways, as i downshift (keep in mind im barely moving at like 3mph) it grinds until i come to like 1mph or dead stop. I no i no.., no need to downshift..blah blah blah.., well if youv forgotten how much of a snail a 5.0 is with 2.73's at 3mph in 2nd then you feel my pain! Also when i shift into 2nd at high rpm's it grinds like hell but it goes into 2nd.., any idea what it can be or should i just rebuild the thing..?

Synchros going out. As for the 1st gear problem, seems normal. I know 1st in my car is hard as hell to get into if you're moving at all.

I agree it sounds like your synchros are worn out.
If it were me I would start shopping around for a new T5 transmission.
