Default 91 GT Cutting off when hot outside

I have a 91 GT. In the summertime I drive it and it dies. Kinda sounds like it is losing spark. I can let it sit until nighttime and it runs fine. It also runs fine when I first drive it and all winter long. i have spoken with a couple of people who said it was the computer or distributor. I have replaced the module on the distributor already. I really don't know which way to go with the troubleshooting because I have to drive it for a while before it starts acting up. I pulled the codes and it did read the computer was going bad. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, stockstangs

Mattdel is probably on the right track, had issues like that and found where my tfi module hooked into the pick up coil was bad, just bought a new distributor at the time and never had that issue since
