alrighty, as the name implies, i hear a squeal from my transmission. I have narrowed it down to TO bearing and pilot bushing. when the car is idling with my foot off the clutch it squeals. when i put pressure on the clutch the squeal goes away. When i replaced the tranmission, i replaced the TO bearing and the pilot bearing. The squeal was gone for about a hundred or so miles and came back. Any ideas on what's causing this or if there may be a simple way to get rid of the squeal.

any idea why even with a new one it started squealing almost immediately?

Sometimes you get bad parts.... I had that happen to me with a brand new ram clutch kit. I replaced that one and the the parts store one lasted for a year and that one came apart and too out my pressure plate.
