Default Bumpsteer kits

Looking at bumpsteer kits for a 93 Cobra with all stock front end. Just want to get rid of that uneasy feeling when I hit major bumps or uneven pavement. What do you guys prefer?

The way I understand it is if your front end is all stock, you don't need a bump-steer kit, you have play in your steering/suspension that is causing uneasy feeling. My car has been dropped 2" by previous owner and the kit corrects the angle of the tie rods on lowered cars. I'm looking at these kits also, on bumpy/uneven roads the car can be a handfull.

I guess i'm just trying figure out what the issue is. When i went looking at bumpsteer kits, the issue that it solved sound exactly what i'm experiencing. The steering is actually very tight, but like you said, bumpy and uneven roads force me to white knuckle the steering wheel.

My 89 lx is lowered, and I've never really experienced this issue, maybe the guy that lowered it put a kit on it (never really looked)

Negative caster alignment and loose front end will cause bumpsteer, too.

Highly doubt it.

Let me know if your 89 has the kit installed or not. Curious to see if these kits work that good……can't be any worse.

Some great reviews on our website and on the web. This will definitely help with the bumps.

Best Regards,
TJ
