Default 95 GT Engine Rebuild

Hello, I have 95 gts with 300,000+ miles. It still runs great but starting to leak a little. I want to pick up a used engine to rebuild. To get more HP I want to get gt40 heads and intake from an explorer, So my question is can I just take a complete explorer engine or is the block different?

Assuming you mean a 5.0 Explorer then yep, it's still a 302W, same stuff.. If you can find one with P heads go for that.. unless you plan on swapping heads anyway.
