studder?
Could be anything.., but maybe there are some folks that have had this. When at idle i gas it and the 5.0 studders for a second then rpm's climb..., what can this be because all my other 5.0's had really good throttle response.., any1?

Does this happen only from Idle ? How does it do when if you go from a steady speed say 25 or so to wot? How about a gradual increase in throttle from Idle compared to a quick pump? Also does it do it more when the engine is cold or hot ,, or is it the same through out the tempreture range?
I think if it were me Id change the fuel filter first off just because its an 89 , unless you know that it has been changed recently. Maybe even a new air cleaner.
Once you can rule out the fuel filter and air cleaner its time to start doing some testing. Youll want to get a fuel pressure gauge, and a multimeter. Here is a good site to tell you how to test the various sensors in your car.

Ok.., well iv changed the fuel filter, and It only does it at idle.., once i pump, it stutters and revs to about 2k5, any pump after the 1st consecutive pump responses normal cold or warm. No c/e/l And since i replaced my g/p in july my fuel pressure is normal! New oem dizzy at 14'.

Try to do the TPS test in the article i posted.
Lack of a cel dosnt mean there is not a small bad spot on the tps. It also dosnt rule out a sensor . If you have a spot at the idle position of the tps or just off idle it could cause it to hiccup a spit second with out throwing a code
Regaurdless if you want to get to the problem your gonna have to start doin some testin, that is unless you just wanna start throwing parts at it and hope you get lucky.
