Default difference in fr springs

so i have a broken spring on my right front and i was looking at getting some fr lowering springs but i found there is like 5 different springs. i know some are lower it more then the other but there is also different spring rates, and im not sure which one to go with. i have a 89 conv gt and just use it for a dd,

also is there anything else i need to get when doing springs??

thanks,

just make sure your wheel.tire setup will fit, which it should if its factory. other than that get the spring rate you'd like 800# is about the stiffest you'd ever wanna go, if you never race or anything just drive it pretty normal maybe go to 600#ish rate or maybe even lower for a cushy ride.
