Default Got a new TFI Mod., PIP Sens. TFI Bad again?

Hey guys, I replaced my dist., TFI, and PIP and ran it til it got up to Operating temp. then it would stutter when punching the throttle and eventually it died with a throttle punch. Now I have no spark again and I feel the TFI is getting way too hot and going bad, even though its brand new. Anyone know or have a link for an at home test for the TFI? Or any insight on my issue would also be appreciated

So I don't think it's the PIP or TFI. I am getting very intermittent and seemingly weak spark from the Coil. Any way to know or test before spending the $50 on a new one?

What brand parts are you using and what distributor?

Have a new (not refurbed) RichPorter OE style dizzy, Ign Module, and PIP. Came all in one for the same price as a Masterpro PIP and Ign Module combined. Had Stock Motorcraft dizzy to begin with an MSD cap, I noticed somewhat frsh microfractures in the housing so I opted for a replacement rather than just replacing the PIP and module

My Ignition Coil was an MSD Blaster but it is testing out of the normal ranges as far as resistance goes. The spark I was getting was reddish orange and not consistant with the engine turning over. I was testing the spark directly from the coil. I thought I wasn't getting spark but noticed it on what would have been my final test before pulling the dizzy and returning it for the electronics..
Putting in new coil today and we will see where that leaves me. I hate that I've lost confidence in this vehicle, I won't leave my street now for test drives when I get it running. Sucks..

Alright, Confident my PIP sensor or TFI Module went bad immediately after install and brought up to operating temp for 10-15 min or so. Got heat soaked and went out. You get what you pay for I suppose. My big question is: Is there anything else besides heat that would cause these guys to go out? I really want to get this issue resolved and will spend the money on good parts, but want to cross off all possible issues before ruining the new equip.
here is a diagram I found, TFI Mod. seems to be a sending unit mainly, hooking directly to the EEC.. Bad EEC? I'm lost

Running tests to confirm my suspicions, the remote mounting My TFI Module. Here is an awesome writeup on it, I am just going to make a heatsink out of an old graphics card though. You can pull them from an Aerostar or a cougar it says in here
