Exclamation Help! What are these two hoses?

I was under my mustang for my very first oil change when I noticed these two hoses under the front passengers side of engine compartment. The were very loose on the connections and I wanted to know if they were important and should be clamped on. I assume if its there, it is there for a reason, and therefore it is important. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully help.

I think you are speaking of your fuel hoses. They are just insulated with rupper hose, and that is why they seem loose. Just to make sure though, trace them. Your description is pretty vague!

Sorry for being vague, but yes they are the rubber hoses that you speak. So does that mean that they are metal inside and will not come loose? They seemed very very loose. I was hoping the pictures would answer most of the questions. Thanks for trying to help me figure this out.

The vague description comment came before the pics posted, sorry.
Yes, dont worry about it, I'm not sure if they are metal under the rubber, but the rubber is insulation from road debris or abrasion and doesn't affect the functionality of the fuel lines at all.

Alright, I wont worry about it too much then. I will probably clamp them higher up on the connections just to feel more comfortable. Thanks for taking the time to help. At least I know what they are now. =)

Don't waste you're time... like stated above, those hoses are just rubber protection that covers the plastic fuel lines... they DON'T need clamped.
