1988 foxbody fuel filler neck gasket

1988 foxbody fuel filler neck gasket
Hello all,
I have a 88 hatch and im getting a strong smell of gas in the car I believe I have found the problem to be a gasket/seal with a couple rips, located around the fuel filler neck. The gasket is around the filler neck where the neck exits the hatch out of the floor of the trunk (hatch ) area. it is secured from underneath the car by 4 bolts. The only thing I can find even referring to the filler neck is the grommet that connects the neck to the tank. I cant find anything on this other seal. Any info will be appreciated!
