I ran C&L for years without issue, but many people do not prefer them. On the tune, with a MA car, with an 89-93 computer, or with the Ford MA conversion kit, I'd say no to the tune. My first tune came when I increased the cubic inches to 369. Otherwise the OBD I computers with MA are wonderfully adaptive to changes.

I have had many issues with a C&L meters on cars I have worked on and owned myself then try to put boost on one WOW what a mess. Now if you ran the C&L and had a custom tune you may have better luck.

I currently run a C&L kit and have no issues! You have to have the right metering tube for it to be on point. I have 30`s with the 76mm kit and it works very well my A/F at idle is around 17.2ish and then under wot it richens up to 12.6-13.4 pending weather outside. Yeah pending what you are looking for on A/F that might not be your preferance, boost is different on efi just like with carbs!
