gt40 from an explorer.
Soo I have a chance to buy a gt40 upper and lower intake off of an explorer.
It comes with the injectors , fuel rail and other misc.. It does not have the throttle body with it .
So I wonder could any one tell me what injectors came on the explorer and If this would be a decent upgrade from my stock 94 gt and also will the is the throttle body from the gt compatable with the gt40 intake.
Any other usefull info you could throw my way would be helpfull .

the explorer uses 19# injectors they are 4 hole and are better than the stock 19# injectors you have on your car...if you find a lincoln mark 8 in the junkard they have 24# injectors
you will need a elbow for the explorer intake to use it on a 94-95 car or swap over to a fox body setup but thats pretty involved because youll need throttle cable, tps, iac etc from a fox

I put an explorer gt40 intake on my 91gt before I replaced the engine. I was really impressed with the difference. My car was mostly stock with the exception of cold air and full off road exhaust. I went from being able to floor it off the line and it keeping pretty straight to giving it hell at 15mph and it going sideways.....
I will tell you that your vacuum routing will probably change so take lots of pictures when you are taking everything apart.
