Hammer 94GT

Hi there, I have a 94 GT with the Mach 460 sound system. I am experiencing a loud humming noise (interruption) in the sterio sometimes. It comes and goes and is extremely annoying when it happens. If I turn off the sterio a few times I will sometimes go away. Any ideas? Maybe a bad ground? Where do they ground the factory sterio? I haven't really dug into the problem as I don't know where to start. Thanks

Do you hear engine noise? or just a whine, either way your right its a bad ground or one of your wires or amp is grounding out as in one of your positives has insulation worn off and is touching metal, not too sure where the ground for the radio is Wtf off hand just follow your wires or use the good ole handy Google.

goodluck!!! I had it on one of my stangs and never figured it out? If you find the problem it would be nice to know the fix!!

do you have the little capacitor mounted on the distributor mount?
