ok I have a few wires to figure out for the sending unit and things like that, but the car runs fine, the problem I have right now is that if I drive it 5 minutes then turn the car off, and try to start it again it wont start. not sure what that means, i hear the fuel pump, when trying to start it, it acts like it is not getting any spark or any fuel.

what this is is a 83 5.0 that i converted to efi (maf)

My 1st test drive i drove it about 2.7 miles to get gas and it sat about 5 minutes, but it did start up that time. All the other test drive are under a mile... I am going to drive it 8 miles later today. and try to restart it when I get back home.

It seems if i let it sit about 15 minutes it'll fire again.

any ideas to check for?

when it won't start, pull out your trusty inline spark checker and test for spark
