Default vibrations from t5?

Well i just replaced my stock 8.8 with another that had 3.73's. My question is when im going around 65mph or higher i feel and hear a vibration coming from the t5. I can engage and disengage clutch and sound still there. As the car coast's down to lower mph the vibration goes away under about 50-55mph. Could i have installed my driveshaft wrong because before i did the rear end swap it was fine and smooth. I really miss that!

check to see if your dri ve shaft has a damper...they will separate just like a harmonic balancer will.. it happened on my 84 svo

the thing is it was probably already there but you are noticing the vibration at a way lower rpm....i assume you went from the stock 2.73:1??

There is only 1 way for the DS to go in, slip yoke front, four bolts to rear

Is there any play in the DS, like maybe while it was out some needle bearings finally fell out of a u joint?

check your driveshaft for play, and also check your u joints and if those are fine check your rear end.

Ok, so the DS has really no play. I did realize something last night.., i was going down hill on the freeway at about 60mph and i put in neutral and noticed that as i gave the car a good couple of revs in neutral i could duplicate the vibration and sound as the revs pass 4k.. Im starting to think its my clutch.

i doubt it....check your harmonic balancer on the front of the engine...the ring might have slipped
