Problems with burning out
This might not sound technical at first, but whenever I go to burnout ( 5 speed 94 gt vert all stock except exhaust) in first I rev it to maybe 1500ish then floor it and shift to second and its slick I put it in 5th or something it just hesitates and stops burning out but then if I give it more gas it'll go. btw I got 18 inch saleens on

Its stock . Your not gonna get the real toque you need to really light em up . The 94 stock engine with a good exhaust upgrade is gonna net you maybe 225 horse up a little from the 215 hp that it was off the lot. When I bought my sn95 it had no engine in it so I opted to find a 89 5.0 and use the upper intakes and tb off of the sn95. The 89 is a roller moter with forged pistons and a bit more compression with a stock hp rating of 225. I then installed a set of 3:73 gears , a set of flowmaster super 44s removed the cats . put a cold air intake on it, a set of good underdrive pullys, and a 1 inch intake spacer between the upper and lower intake. Have my timing set to 14 btc. I dont know what kind of power Im making as I never had it dyno'd but It will break loose and drift sideways through 2nd gear. Now some pple will say that the intake spacer does nothing but I did notice a a difference it lower end torqe , throttle responce and I gained a couple hundred rpm on the top end. This winter Im doing a H/C/I job on the car If I can save up the money for it. Im lookin at a gt40 setup .

I figured it was just stock, and it could partly be that I got some big wheels on there. I'm doing the C/I part this winter along with underdrive pulleys and new window regulators.
