Best method to get lowered Fox Body on Jack stands.
Not sure of the best way to make this happen...I want to get enough clearance to fully creep under the car for a period of time...I wanted to jack the car up & place ramps under the front tires, but I can't get enough lift with the floor jack...I can't drive up on the ramps because the front end hits the ramp (i need to get different ramps I think). Was wondering if the rhino ramps have a better approach angle?
How do you get it done? I'm sure once I get on the ramps I can jack higher if needed, then lift the rear end & place jack stands back there.

I put a floor jack under the center of the front crossmember on mine coming from under the bumper, got it high enough to put jack stands under it. I jacked up under the chunk on the rear axle coming from under the car but don't get under there to jack it up. Make sure your floor jack can roll freely as you do so. Put stands under the axle. Mine is lowered an inch and a half so this should work for you. And to add, go in the reverse order when you let it down.

My car is too low from the front to fit a jack under crossmember so what i do is lift from the side rail right behind one of the front tires., jack it up put a brick under the tire, lower it and then i go and put the jack under crossmember and that does it.

Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive low-profile jack made specifically for lowered vehicles.
Also, my father found a set of ramps when he bought his Corvette, they have plastic inserts(wedge shaped, 15" long) that clamp into the front few inches of ramp that provide a low angle of approach to clear bumpers. Not sure where, but they exist.

get some 2x10's or ANY boards and drive overtop of them to gain clearance for jack, then jack car to desired height, then place stands under, then place jack on boards and or bricks and keep jacking until car is raised even further and so forth until the car is at the height you want with stands extended to the height desired

Yah, I got it now...
Purchased some Rhino Ramps (16,000 pound 10" wide 6.5" lift), approach angle is better but they slide when the front tires reach the edge of the top...required a couple of 8' 2x4's laying between ramps & house foundation (front edge of garage). This got me 6.5" of height on the front of the car. Still not enough height to do low profile creeper work, but gets me where I can reach my 3.25 Ton Costco floor jack under the front crossmember to get additional jack height.
I will try to get the front (& rear) high enough to ultimately get 1 course of 8"h concrete block & 16" length of 2X10 on top for the tires to sit on. I know concrete blocks should not support weight on their sides. This should get me a suspension loaded lift of 9.5" at the tires which should give me enough room to creep.
I'm not comfortable jacking from my Full Length SubFrame Connectors more than a few inches...seems to me that it may compromise (twist) one of the better upgrades I made on the car suspension.
Just met a guy who picked up a used lift...I'm jealous. This is like a Chinese fire drill

Nooooo! Take as many pieces of 2x4 or so and make your own ramp just wedding cake it enough to put the floor jack then jackstands, very ghetto looking but its actually very legitimate.
