Default Polyurethane motor mount's worth the money?

Well pulling my motor the motor mount's look trashed, and i didn't like the 4-5inch's of travel when moving the transmission around.

OEM style motor mounts are about $50

these Polyurethane mount's are $95

Is it worth the extra $45? im not seeing the gain from stiffer motor mounts other then making the car shake like hell.

I got them, havent installed them yet

I seriously doubt it'll be worse then the 23-yo mounts in it now...

ive read a few guy's say when launching the car, it feel's more "firm" less "slack"

dunno how that translates though haha.

all the solid mount's ive seen raise the engine 1/2-1" so im not really wanting that.

plus I already have the polyurethane tran's mount.
(my buddy that helped me on the transmission swap said that when he installed it, it made the car vibrate like crazy, im thinking because my stock motor mount's where toast...)

Solid mounts...hahhahahah...anyways, the PU mounts do take up extra slop, that will however trasmit more NVH into the passenger compartment. Not totally unliveable though unless you are sensitive to that type of thing.

I'm running Energy on mine right now. Definately feel the engine and drive train. You can almost tune an engine with the feel and can tell if something going on with the tranny, driveshaft and rear, Takes some of the hit/miss out of the "Buttometer". It is close to being like solid mounts!!!!!!

or you can be like me and fill the motor mounts with window adhesive it will stiffen up the factory motor mounts a lot and its cheaper than poly mounts. Using your resources FTW!
