Default spring isolators

reiffer-ing to an older post about uneven suspension...i am saggin in the back and couldnt figure if it was dead springs or the fronts just not sitting correctly to then throw off the back....but now my new theory is the lack of spring isolators are the issue? are they that important to effect ride hieght? or are they just for stiffining the springs or both??

i got pictures posted on old thread ...could no isolators b the issue?

Spring iso's do add about 1/2" to the ride hight . If they are missing in the rear of your car and you add some it will raise slightly. The purpose of the iso's is to "isolate" the spring from the body and control arm. This helps to keep road noise from transmitting into the chassie of the car , and also to help absorb some of the vibration witch helps the springs keep from wearing on the ends . They dont have any effect on spring rate or stiffness.
I know alot of pple leave them out when switching springs to get a bit more drop. I wouldnt leave them out just becaus I dont want the added road noise , but some pple say they dont notice it much.
