Default 95 amp vs 130 amp

So I noticed that my fox has been sucking a lot of power at idle due to my upgraded sound system and electric fan; especially with the headlights on. With that being said I'm in the market for a new alternator (being that mine is still the stock 75 amp).

I was wondering if ya'll think the 95 amp would be sufficient enough to power my fox (would be an easy install since its a direct fit) or if I should go big and get the 130amp 3G conversion.

If I do go with the 130 amp I just wanna make sure there's no such thing as too much juice running through its veins ie would there be any adverse side affects to running almost double the amperage in it?

Thanks.

There are no downsides, the alternator only pushes out as much power as needed. Nothing more and hopefully nothing less. I would suggest getting the 95W amp if you don't plan on doing anything else of electrical to your fox

I put a Powermaster 140 amp alternator in my car and it runs everything fine. I have 2 10" subs and a 1000w Amp. Everything works great with wipers, heater, lights, etc on at the same time.

I just installed the 130 3G. No issues. My sound system is a mild upgrade and run a electric fan. I turned on everything while ideling, including AC full blast. It handeled everything perfectly.
