WOT at start-up

I don't have an explaination to your question on why it was happening. But just last night I solved my no start unless I use ether problem. It was my TPS. It was testing around 0.5 ohms (black), a full 5.0 volts (orange) but upwards of 4.6-4.7 volts (green). So, in my case, the TPS was telling the computer to not fire the injectors in case of a flooded state. Swapped it out, fires right up. It even fixed a good amount of my high idle

EVP, ECT, ACT, and BP sensors all share the same ground as the TPS, so you're likely chasing a dead wire inbetween the TPS itself and the splice where those sensors come together, which is splice #151, located near the ECT. Test resistance from TPS Bk/W wire to this splice, cold & hot, bet you'll find variations.
Tapping in and grounding it with a secondary wire is fine, unless you have other issues with the vehicle that might be able to be explained by the above mentioned sensors having a ground issue. If that's the case, time to dig into the harness.

I ran a KOEO/KOER test on my car awhile ago at operating temp. This is what i got, KOEO test; 22-map/bp sensor out of self test range, 81-air management 2 circuit failure(am 2/tad), 84- EGR vacuum solenoid circuit failure(vacuum line plugged, i expected this), 85- canister purge solenoid circuit failure. KOER test; 33-EGR valve opening not detected, 44-Thermactor air injection system inoperative(right side), 92- HEGO sensor circuit indicates system rich(left side), 94-Thermactor air injection system inoperative(left side). The smog pump has been removed and there's no purge canister. So apparently besides running a little rich on the left side it not too bad. Opinions?

Well you have codes for everything I listed, just about, so sounds like it might be an overall ground issue. Unfortunately I can't find a diagram showing the origin point of the grounds I was mentioning before. Have to trace it.

Is connector #26 on this harness the one I need to check...http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/te...ainHarness.gif

I found a square grey male connector with two blk/wt wires coming out of the harness on the driver's side fenderwell area before you get to the starter relay, could not find a female plug that it might plug into. I also reconnected a orange wire on the VSS plug on the transmission that was broken. Run another KOER test and the rich condition on the left side went away(92) i believe. Probably had nothing to do with it though.
