i have been wanting too install the vented 93 cobra grill look but from what i have read it says that certain cutting needs to be done so that it can fit onto the bumper or however it gets mounted. My question is, how exactly is this achieved? Steps and precautions?

All you need to do is cut your template out, put it on the car and cut. It's pretty straight forward. The whole front area gets covered, so you won't be able to see if it's cut perfect or not. I actually epoxied mine in instead of using the 3m tape. I also molded mine to the bumper.
