You should always disconnect the battery when working on the car I was just wondering if you did because it will need to relearn certain things. Any time I have my battery disconnected for more than a few hrs the car idles like crap for the first few cold starts.

Ok. I drove it today and seems better. Did the base idle reset after having the battery off.? I think i will check the tps voltage and reset my idle because when i turn on car or come to a stop the car idles at 600. Does not turn off but just idles low. Has to be the base idle im thinking..?

I don't think 600 rpm is to bad as long as the lope is gone. And its not burning your eyes from the exhaust. Mine would lope like it had a huge cam in it and would be so rich it burned your eyes. I think my idle is set around 700 right now. Id like to have mine idle closer to 600 but I have underdrive pullys and that low an idle kills my power steering and alt .

OK.. maybe its just me because all my stang have idles above 700., Just not use to the 500-600 rpm range, Sounds way too quite to me. Well it does smell a bit richer than before..? Will an out of range TPS do that?

Well Maybe people are scared to buy them because of the bad rep some people gave them, like how it wont fit under stock hoods. Im not a pro and i cant say that ive tried other aftermarket intakes to compare but i gotta say this one woke my car up!

I know.. aint that sumthin. LOL. I knew it was to good to be true when i installed it all, and what i mean by to good to be true i mean it was a very easy install.

update., I tried to reset the idle but i think i failed because i still have to have the idle screw adjusted alot to get to 750rpm's. I also adjusted the tps and that did need adjusting. Drove the car to work and is running better but at idle it isnt as smooth as before but close. At a cold start of have to give the car a pump of the gas to catch idle which bothers me a little. Iam almost at the point where iam going to tear it all down and re-install everything again but my fingers hurt LOL.
