Default Wiring questions

I'm rewiring from the ground up, don't have a harness. I have a ladder diagram drawn up for my starter and solenoid and all my accessories, but have no idea how my distributor, coil, and alternator tie together. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

I really don't care about getting a harness and doing it the 'right' way, this is just a hobby and I'm really just interested in building this car and seeing how all the electronics tie together.

Build it as it's wired, or it won't run. You don't necessarily have to buy a harness, but it is just an assload of work to wire it yourself.

+1. The diagrams make it look simple, but they don't show the twist & turns etc of the wire. A wire the diagram shows as 1 inch could be 12 feet long. That is the hard part. YOu may know where each end of the wire goes, but you don't know where the middle of the wire goes. That is the hard part. Good luck...

Got about 500 feet of brand new spools of stranded and solid 8-18ga wire thanks to a plant going under. I know some parts are gonna be a pita, I just wanna do it to get this wild hair out of my ***.
