Neutral switch or back-up light switch.

Well found out today what the random power lose was...pretty sure its a head gasket leak now because the car over heated just randomly after driving it about 4 miles at lunch and started running really rough in spurts. Hopefully I can baby it home....

I feel like if I keep blaming the head gasket its going to spontaneously leak now lol. It ended up being a combination of the water pump bearings going bad and no thermostat. So it was pushing the water to fast for it to cool down enough...thus overheating. I replaced the water pump and installed a 180 thermostat. Problem Fixed!!!

Amazing. What was the purpose of running no thermostat?

Beats the **** outta me...I bought it like that. I bet anything the last owner had it get stuck closed, which there supposedly notorious for, and thought he could get away with not having one. Should've seen the look on my face when I took the housing off and saw nothing there.....lol
