Default recommend me a clutch/flywheel? 347-T5

Building a 347 stroker with AFR heads and I have a T5 transmission with Z gears (hoping for 500hp).

What clutch and flywheel do you guys recommend? I'm hoping to aviod hydraulic setups. Looking for a a decent pressure. Don't want a hard clutch pedal feel, but I do want a little something. Its for a street car.

347 stroker motors with AFR heads and a comp cam XE274HR are all over the place with outputs over 500 to the crank.

I checked out the DFX and the reviews so far seem to be what I'm looking for. Thanks for the recommendation.

Spec stage 3+. Was running that on my mostly stock 93 before I tore it down. Had the same pedal pressure as a stage 1 clutch but grabbed like a SOB. Highly recommend those clutches to anyone. Even put one in a guys G35 at work.

Stay away from clutch master. Biggest piece of junk out there. I had good luck with the spec clutchs.

I've read Spec clutches have a lot of chatter, is that not so much?

OP - I have a Ram aluminum flywheel. I think it weighs 14 lbs

Mine doenst chatter. Ive had worse luck with stock honda clutches chattering that I have spec. Dont know about stock Ford ones since the only stock ford clutch ive driven is in the Boss and its a whole different animal.

Also they make an aluminum flywheel that has a steel insert in it. A few manufacturers have them. Best way to go IMO.
