Default a different door lock actuator question..

I've searched all the actuator threads but didn't get a deff answer. The issues im having is my power door locks don't work. I have power to switches. I have power down at the actuators. I tested the voltage with supplied ground at the switch and at the actuators. Both connections got great voltage. So i thought must be the actuators. Took one out and bench tested it with a battery right to leads and it worked great up and down. Any ideas of what it could be?

my guess is that the actuator is weak and that it worked only because it wasnt hooked up...i just unhooked them the car is small enough i can reach over and pull the door handle for someone...

So i got more time to check everything out last night. I'm thinking it may be lock switches but not sure. When i use the driver side switch the lock side of the switch is sending power to both wires on the actuator. Unlock side of the drivers switch was working at the back of the switch but not at the actuator. Passenger side switch is getting power but not sending power in lock or unlock position. Does this sound like a switch problem or wiring?

Should be power and a ground at motor. Check for continuity in wiring.

Ok so there's one power wire that controls both functions at the actuator and one ground? Does anyone know what wire is positive and what one is negative?

Did you put any resistance on the actuator when you bench tested it?

Yes I put a fair amount of resistance on it with my hand. I reversed polarity and actuator worked great both ways

Polarity is switched inside of lock switch. Wires sre both neg-pos depending on position of switch.
