The fan only draws around 32 amps when it is constantly running..... When looking at fan controllers you need to pay attention to its rating and find one that has a soft touch start up so it gradually turns it on....Giving it an instant 12v is what causes it to spike to the 70+ amps for a couple milliseconds.

ahh.. i c... so look for the slow start up is what your saying and a 40 amp module would be fine... thank you.

pretty much. I used to have a DCC controller on mine....expensive but they were great. I fried mine through my own stupidity and not paying attention to what I was doing.
